The tarot reading this week asks us to be authentic in ourselves to deal with change gracefully. Sometimes we get too caught up in the tides that surround us that we forget we know how to swim. We can then end up so far off course that we become disoriented and lose touch with our sense of direction. The influences at work this week are extending a lifejacket to us but we have to swim toward it, even if it's just a doggie-paddle. The message is go with whatever works for you and start swimming! Read on to see the particular challenges and hints from the universe on how to tackle the week. Weekly Tarot Summary
This tarot card looks tremendously frightening at first glance, but let's all take a collective sigh; it's actually good news when it's reversed. We start off the week feeling more balanced and more in tune with ourselves than we have in a while. The bigger picture isn't always clear but what we can gleam from the broad brushstrokes is that we're in this together so we're more inclined toward actions of selflessness and altruism. We have to be careful, however that selflessness doesn't turn into unnecessary self-sacrifice. Right now we're able to see past the material world and connect with something bigger than ourselves. This renewed spiritual understanding broadens our perspective which allows us to see even more possibilities before us. Sometimes having too many options can lead to indeciveness so this is where we'll want to take some time aside and get real with our aspirations and limitations. Due to the overzealous desire to be altruistic and put others first, our challenge this week lies in finding the balance between being open to all and still exercising discernment and caution in our dealings. We can support our friends, neighbors, business partners, etc. but there is a risk that our projects get cancelled, we experience a loss in our homelife or there may even be a con-man lurking around for alms when he's really a thief. Our love for the other cannot get in the way of using good, sound judgment. When the Lord of Gain is reversed positioned as the challenge, we know we're facing the possibility of material loss. It would behoove us to avoid over-spending and any excesses (in food, drinks, vices, etc.) that are unchecked. This is where we'll see the universe back us up by provided a loving, supportive environment where we can become centered. This card is particulary indicative of support and harmony in romantic relationships, however even when we have this beauty and balance sometimes we still need to make a choice. This can be about setting your boundaries, turning away from temptation or doubling down on commitment. These relationhips can subtly pull us in one direction or the other, but as long as you stay true to your compass, you'll find companionship and fulfillment in navigating life's challenges together. After the period of stagnation that we saw last week, there's now movement and it's happening quickly. The advice is to keep up with the pace, roll your sleeves up and lean into the flurry of activity. It's imperative that you stay optimistic and face the future with hope even when things look bleak. Nothing lasts forever and the wheel of life is going to keep turning so you might as well enjoy the ride. Things are moving so quickly now that you may even receive an unexpected message regarding a project or matter of your homelife that kicks the situation into high gear... FINALLY! Run with it, but try to check in with yourself periodically so that you're making decisions out of love, expansion and honesty instead of fear and desperation. Change is on its head, so we're having trouble adapting. We'll only see this card reversed as the outcome if we don't heed the warnings. We've seen that the changes in our lives have now gained momentum and the speed is picking up, but if we don't stay true to ourselves throughout the bustle of activity we'll end up overwhelmed, over-extended and perhaps even a bit resentful. In reality the reason is because we haven't established and enforced our own boundaries, but instead we're inclined to keep the mask on, keep up the show and continue going through the motions. That's simply unsustainable and while it may work for you in the short-term, you won't be able to keep up the juggling for long and you'll eventually drop something... and let me tell you, it won't be graceful. You would be doing yourself a huge favor by learning to be aware of your limitations and drawing the line in the sand. No need to maintain the charade while you do it either. Suffering on with a brave face or some sort of counterfeit happiness is a waste of your energy. Do what you can within your possibilities, the universe is on your side.
Be authentic, be you. Much luck on your mystic revolution this week!
